The Lee 4-Hole Turret Press is one of the best entry level turret presses on the market today. It is very easy to use and parts and accessories are easily found. There are many seasoned reloaders that are still using this press today and rightfully so. It is a great press that is made very well.

I'm a big Lee Precision fan. Up to this point, all their reloading equipment has worked for me, and most of it has worked very well. I bought this press based on its excellent reviews. To make a long story short, I cannot get this press to index properly. I have been in constant contact with Lee's customer service for almost a month about it. I reviewed all of Lee's videos on the subject of indexing adjustment, and have scoured YouTube for suggestions as well. Lee has sent me a new index rod assembly, a new auto indexing clamp, and a new turret ring that holds the turrets. Nothing has fixed the problem. With dies installed in the turret and the auto-indexing rod properly adjusted, the turret will only index correctly if the slightest pressure on the ram lever is used. If anything close to normal pressure is used, the turret will either over-shoot or under-shoot the index about 50% of the time, depending on a slight index rod adjustment one way or the other. Without dies installed, it indexes perfectly, with any kind of force on the ram lever, from the slightest to the heaviest. The added momentum of the four dies installed seems to be too much for the turret design to handle, at least in my case. Maybe I got a lemon, but since neither Lee's customer service or I can figure out what to do next to get it operating properly, I am having to send it back to Lee for adjustment or replacement, at my cost. If I had to do it over again, I would either stick with my Lee Classic Breech Lock Single Stage Press or consider the more expensive Lyman T-Mag II Turret Press that seems to have a more positive manual indexing system.

Very nice quality build, very sturdy, functions perfectly and very smoothly, easy to set up and use, gives you the option to quickly disengage the turret auto rotate feature if you desire, easily mounted to my reloading bench, capability to quickly change out spare turrets to reload different calibers and a terrific price. This press has made my reloading much easier and faster. Wish I had bought one a long time ago. Buy one, you certainly won't be sorry.

This is one of the most usable reloading presses I have ever come across. Easy setup and comfortable to use. Not as fast as a progressive press, but you have an easy overview of the process while working with it. Quite a bit easier to use than a single stage press, and much faster too. I wish I got this as my first press. It would have saved me some money.Pros: Easy setup and use… And let's not forget the priceCons: Possibly the fact that it's not as fast as a progressive loader.
