Caps Fan –
After testing several different turkey loads, these shells with #6 shot deliver the best pattern with my 870 and an Undertaker choke tube. Dropped a gobbler at 40 yards. The pattern is fairly even and dense at 40 yards. I did notice that a few of the shells rattled when shaken despite the shot supposedly “locked” in the buffer material. Not sure if that affects performance.

Optics plant had Winchester long beard xr 3” 1-1/2 oz #5 shot turkey loads and nobody else did. These seem to pattern the best with my Winchester SXP shotgun with a kicks choke. These shells are proven out to 65 yards. Great product and quick shipping
