The 6mm 100 grain BTT MatchKing is the flagship bullet of Sierra’s MatchKing hunting line. This bullet is designed for match level accuracy and has boat tail design for accuracy. What really makes the 6mm MatchKing a game changing bullet is its boat tail design. The green tinted transparent tip makes sure the bullet sees the target and home in on the target. Once impact occurs, the lead core and petals expand while the boat tail continues through the target until it reaches the big game. This is what makes the 6mm BTT a lethal option for big game. The 6mm BTT matches the cartridge chambering, so the same projectile can be loaded and shot in the chamber, but at a much lower overall BC than a match grade bullet of the same species and weight. Therefore, it is an excellent bullet for long-range hunting use, as well as medium-range and long-range target shooting. These 6mm BTT MatchKing bullets demonstrate Sierra’s dedication to quality and are sure to be an integral part of your winning hunts in the future. Robert Stomm –
Bought these bullets to use in a Rem 700 rifle. Nothing was mentioned about them not being suitable for use in a Rem 700. They would hit the target sideways at a fifty yard target. I called sierra and they told me they were not suitable for use in a Remington 243 with a one in ten twist. Seems like that would be something the customer about before they purchased them !
