Redding Reloading Form & Trim Die, Series A

This unique little detail tool is made to allow the reloader to trim cases without deformation or change size. Used in conjunction with a Redding Resize Press the Trim Dies offer the reloader the ability to trim cases without damaging the chamber or the shoulder. In some cases the case mouth will be damaged e.g. when resizing too long or oversized cartridges. Again the case mouth must be opened. With this in mind the reloader must ensure that the case mouth is properly closed before attempting to resize the case. An improperly closed die can damage a cartridge and cause handguns to misfire. Redding’s Trim Dies ensure that the cartridge case mouths are trued up as near perfection as is possible with a cast die.
