The Redding Benchrest Competition Full-Length Neck Bushing Set combines two dies that are the heart of a reloading set – a neck sizing die and a seater die. These bushings work in conjunction with a seater die to provide a fully automatic seating system that will seat Bullets concentricity with micrometer accuracy every time! Redding MatchMaster Neck Bushing Sets include a detailed instruction sheet that explains how the dies work and shows how to achieve the concentricity that sprues of ammunition get. These dies can also be used as sets – a neck sizing only, full-length neck sizing (set), or as a neck sizing only set. However, you must purchase the bushings for the neck sizing dies, and those bushings must be changed out afterward. Dial one thousandth of an inch and you will get the proper overall length (COL) for your cartridges. Remington makes these dies super easy to use, and they are beautifully machined, polished, and finished off with a deep blued finish like on the finest firearms. The only dies you need for benchrest competition shooting are the MatchMaster Neck Sizing Die and the Matchmaster Seater Die. Neil Jensen –
Except for the loading port, which is very handy. However if are looking for the most concentric with zero to .001 runout. These dies are not up to the job. I averaged .002-.003 at best. That’s seeing a .004 to .006 movement of the needle of dial indicator. My old standard full length dies were capable of doing this. No matter what Idid to try improve the runout, it failed.
