Great ammo at the best price. This ammo is so light but it packs a great punch. Optics planet is one of the few sites you can find stock and they don’t gouge you on price. Shipping was on time and great communication

Liberty got the lead out. Twice as fast means twice as far. Why I chose 45 over 9 for my EDC & PCC. Half the kick with a muzzle brake & sprung butt plate has no felt recoil. Liberty is also lighter in weight so the 109RDs aboard weigh less & the dropleg tachholster rig's 51RDs also does. 2~ HP4595 PCCs & HP34510 Pistol

This is my self defense ammo of choice for my FN FNX.45. With a 15+1 capacity, that can add a lot of weight with standard 230 grain loads. With this round, it is much lighter and thus more comfortable to carry, even with 2 spare magazinesfull of Liberty Civil Defence!

Wasn’t sure how well this Liberty Civil Defense 45 ammo would cycle this my 45 but WOW, this ammo is great! It’s almost startling how light it is but but its cycles flawlessly. Plus, it does make the gun lighter.

I challenge anyone to find a better 45ACP round, anywhere!!

I ordered two boxes (40 rounds total) to try in my Ruger SR1911 Lightweight Commander. I was looking for.45 ACP ammo that would be good for self-defense, but have less recoil than most typical self-defense ammunition, especially in a Lightweight Commander (28 oz.) 1911. At $1.69 per round I only shot 15 rounds of it (I wanted to save 25/40 for 3 8-round mags + 1 in the chamber), but the few rounds was enough to get good feedback. It has about 30-50% less recoil than most self-defense .45ACP ammo, but it does have significantly more muzzle blast than typical ammo. All this extra gas is a benefit if you have a compensated or ported pistol as it will reduce muzzle flip that much more. It is very accurate with 3 rounds making a cloverleaf, hand-held at 7 yards. I experienced no problems with Tripp 8-round and Wilson 10-round mags. Another benefit of the 78 grain projectile vs. heavier bullets is that is lightens the load of carrying a loaded gun, and even more so when carrying extra magazines; it is definitely a difference that you can feel.
