This is great ammo for ELR. Groups at 25-100yds will be average. It really starts to shine after 200yds. This price is stupid. WE WILL REMEMBER who the gougers were when this is over. Normal prices are $25, greedy prices are $30. Where do you think $40 is?

Very good ammunition I got the silver medal at senior games with this ammunition. The only down side is cost very expensive at $39 dollars for 50 but extremely accurate top-of-the-line the best, I was using this ammunition with an anshutz 54 very accurate rifle I had four perfect targets out of eight each target is 25 shots

Definitely nothing that makes this ammo so special that it should cost this amount. I was given some rounds to try and could not tell a difference. Dont buy expensive ammo otherwise they will keep charging these prices.

the ammo was just ok, good for the range. from a box of 50 rounds I had 2 missfires, shooting with a revolver . when I put them in for a second try, they both fired. I recommend this ammo for the range only.

Like so many topics surrounding the shooting sports….”is it worth it?”…..remains firmly in the eye of the beholder. Those who spend $3,000 on a custom Vudoo Gun Works 22lr rifle and then spend another $4,000 in optics and mounts specifically to shoot steel targets at 500 yards will undoubtedly join me in singing the praises of Lapua X-Act ammunition for it’s real world performance in Extreme Long Range rimfire shooting events. I will not argue that there are at least a dozen significantly cheaper match ammunition options available that will all consistently shoot sub MOA groups out of a wide range of rifles at 50 yards. So if you are just content shooting 1/2 inch 5 shot groups at 50 yards then by all means buy three boxes of the less expensive match ammunition and go happily on your way. If you want to shoot 1/2” groups at 100 yards consistently then your options just narrowed dramatically and if you want to ping the steel at 300, 400, and 500 yards then you have entered rarified air indeed. All ammunition regardless of caliber or intended use has seen a crazy spike in cost…..this ammunition is no exception. There are a surprising number of dedicated ELR aficionados out there and they are still shooting in organized club events as well as a number of private events who understand the value of Lapua X-Act and are willing to pay the temporary premium in order to enjoy the adrenaline rush that comes from waiting the 2 seconds it takes for their tiny bullet to glance off the steel plate 500 yards away….or the sweaty palms you get after putting 4 in a row through the same hole at 100 yards and you are consciously trying to control your heart rate to put number 5 in that same hole for a perfect group. For those who know and still care…..this is the king of the hill in 22lr match ammunition. I have 50 years experience and about 600,000 rounds down range to back up my opinion….and thank God we live in a country where we are still all entitled to have one. Happy shooting!
