Love these. Hand load with 11.4 grains of 4198 powder and they run 1090 fps out of a 16” barrel. That is 935 fps out of a 7” barrel. Pattern always looks like a tight cloverleaf in 5 shots strings. About 0.4” groups for the largest. Can’t wait to try on some game.

These work awesome! Leave it to Hornady to make these bullets are built specific to expand at lower speeds. I tried them on hogs and did the job perfectly. I don’t use them for hog hunting I just wanted to see if it would stop one if needed and it did!

Perfect for loading subsonic home defense rounds. 11.5 – 12 grains of CFEBLK should get them to about 1,000fps out of my 10.5" barrel.

You’ve got a suppressed 300 Blackout AR— why not go all in with these amazing subsonic designed bullets from Hornady. 190 grains of goodness. Designed to expand at these low speeds. Great product at a great price.

I believe the 12.2g charge numbers are whacked due to an extra shot in the string when checking the chronograph results after shooting; like there was an extra shot from some previous data stored in the string or something. All loads functioned properly with ejected brass landing in a 2' diameter circle at ~4:00, with last round bolt hold open. The 11.9g charge put 5 in a .3" group at 25 yds with nice round holes for all shots that indicated a fully stabilized projectile.I'm cheap and wish they were less spendy. But they work. Hopefully I get a chance to put one through a whitetail doe this fall to see how they perform on game.

By far my favorite bullet for subs. They are very accurate and expand well.
