suggest you order from another source. After five days carrier still does not have any record or tracking info on my order. Paid extra postage to assure arrival before Christmas as promised. Nice folks to talk to but lack any help at all. They say it has shipped and is at USPS but USPS has nothing other than a pre-shipment label. It has been five days since order was placed and should have arrived as extra postage indicated. It is apparent there was not priority to process the order quickly.

Hornady match dies come equipped with a micrometer adjustment which is not shown in the Optics Planet web page. the dies are well worth the money. The eliptical expander requires much less force to resize the neck than a standard ball which is also included in the kit. this was my first die with a bushing and it takes some research to determine which and how many to order. Forester supplies three appropriate bushings with their neck bushing dies and Hornady probably should too for the un-initiated. I was reloading for a 6.5 Creedmoor and selected .289, .290 and .291. Two were from RCBS (they are interchangable) and one from Hornady. Reding and Wilson bushings also reportedly fit the Hornady dies but not Forester which are longer. The micrometer adjustment is not as easy to read as a Forester but is very precise and comes with two stems, one for the popular Hornady ELD-M ogive and another standard one. the stems are not identified however but trying them soon sorted that out. And yes, you really can adjust to the 1/1000 of an inch, though on longer OCL oyu will have to unscrew the seating die quite a long ways. the match bushing dies are a baby step toward precision reloading. It offers precise seating depth and a variety of neck tensions but you will still need other tools to determine shoulder bump, neck thickness, a mandral press and die for really precise neck tension, and a neck turning tool and concentricity gauge for benchrest quality ammo.

Beautiful and well crafted dies for precision reloading work.I would highly recommend this product for those individuals who are reloading for statistical analysis of your loads. Match Grade is the one you need.Don't forget to order the bushing(s).- Bruce

Good product for the price. Just know that you will have to buy a bushing if you go with the match grade dies. I would buy the product again. I'm a fan of all things Hornady. I like to pick a company and stick with them.

I have several sets of these and they are by far my favorite dies. Best dies on the market for the money.

Let me clarify what separates these from the Hornady custom dies. The match set has the same bullet seater with the addition of the micrometer adjuster. It also comes with the VLD seating stem and the normal one. The sizing die is a bushing a die, bushings sold separately. From personal use, I know the Redding bushings work just fine.
