This ammo shot well though my M&P 9mm. Good price for hollow point ammo, especially with today’s prices. Fast shipping and great overall experience. I would recommend both this ammo and optics planet for future purchases.

These rounds feed perfectly through an FN 509 compact and tactical. The compact is a 3.7in barrel, and the tactical is a 4.5in, in case it helps anyone. They are accurate, reliable, and I haven't had a misfire yet. These rounds resist corrosion well. I live in Arkansas and work in -5°~30°F coolers and have to constantly be in and out of them, as well as the hot humid weather outside. The rounds in my concealed carry are the ones that start to corrode usually after about a month or so, but I've yet to see the ones I'm stockpiling go "bad". I also want to note I just have them sitting on the floor in my room, so I'm not doing anything special to preserve them. I only have a little over 400ish rounds through my guns so far, but for the price they are easy to keep a steady supply to train with. Optics Planet always has good prices on great products such as these rounds.

As a Law enforcement officer I have used various ammunition.. I have found that Hornady 9mm Luger + P 124 grain has the most effective stopping power. Therefore I would highly recommend using for home defense or as a duty load.

I replaced the sites on my new shield plus and took seven different loads to the range to try to find a carry load. This XTP load shot the tightest groups, point of aim, without sight adjustment, over all the other contenders, including HST, and gold dot.
