   I’ve tried a lot of powders in my 30+ years of handloading. Many years ago I settled on HP-38 as my go-to for handgun loads. It just works well for everything I shoot. As an all-around powder, I think you can’t go wrong with this.

   I use this powder to load my 9mm and have never had a failure. Flows nicely and is very accurate in my loads.

   Good all around pistol and powder for wide range of calibers. One pound goes a long way!

   I reload 38 specials with 4.3 grains of P38 without any problems (except my hitting the target!). Now if you could develop a powder that guaranteed a bulls eye every time, I would switch. Otherwise I will continue using HP38.
