Excellent high velocity ammo. Very close to Tenex when it comes to consistency. This is a great ammo for varmint control at 50-100+ yards. I use it in my higher end rifles and they stay cleaner, longer than when using lesser ammo. Definitly recommend.

This ammo is insanely accurate, and you don't have to break the bank compared to higher-end Eley.Only complaint/warning: these didn't chamber in my Ruger 10/22 when using EXTENDED mags. It chewed up and smashed the hollow point on multiple tries, and wouldn't go up the feed ramp. I was worried, after ruining 5 rounds. Switched to the 10 round mags, and it was shot-on-top-of-shot.My girl, a lesser experienced shooter, accomplished dime sized groups at 25 yds with 3x Zoom.Has shown extremely consistent expansion, too (as consistency is Eley's middle name), but remember this is supersonic, so it shouldn't be used for distance. For bolt action squirrel hunting 25-50yds: this is about as good as you'll find.

This ammo very consistent for high velocity hollow point. 50 yard groups running in the .65 range or less.

Seems accurate and clean. Have purchased other 22lr and the manufacturer has made a great product. I will definitely purchase again in the future.

I just now received two more bricks of this 22 Long Rifle ammo. I asked if could be the same lot. The gentleman at Optics Planet said he couldn’t guarantee it. But it arrived all the same lot number. Eley did this about 15 years ago. They put out this round then stopped producing it. When I seen it was back in production, I jumped on it. As a previous post, I rate this ammo top notch in the accuracy category. So, if you want an accurate hunting round for your 22, this is the one to get. I’ve not shot any copper plated ammo in my Tikka. This is my go to ammo. Can’t wait till spring, going to use it on the prairie dog population.

I had heard good things about Eley ammo. I was looking for a hunting round for my Tikka, T1x. The rifle was an absolute tack driver during the break in period. I wanted to see what it could do at 100 yards. I only put a Leupold Fixed VXII, 4X on it,because of the short 16 inch barrel. This ammo has produced 1.5 inches, 10 shot groups at 100 yards. People tell me to put a stronger scope on it, to make those groups shrink. I even thought my old T/C Benchmark had better days. But it really shines with this high velocity hollow point ammo, from Eley. I ended up buying 20 more boxes from Optics Planet. They are the only ones that that I could find,that handle this certain round. I live out west, so this rifle and Eley ammo are going to be my 100 yard or less prairie dog round. Match grade accuracy from a hunting round. Amazing!
