The .510 cal 850 grain Lazer-Tipped Hollow Point GEN2 Single Feed Bullet is designed for extreme accuracy and devastating terminal performance. These high BC, tipped hollow point bullets are manufactured out of lead-free, solid copper bar stock on a Swiss style lathe. Because of their consistent weight, they are the #1 choice for ELR matches and competitive shooters. These bullets do not mushroom, but instead, fracture. The base of these bullets continue through for even deeper penetration. For lighter weights, simply remove the .2 grain weight from the opposite end of the bullet, reduce the .2 grain weight, and hand-crimp the remaining .2 grain from the opposite end of the .510 cal bullet, remove the .2 grain, and then lubricate/flux as usual. When you do this, the petals of the bullet open up in a star pattern and radiate outward in a fan pattern for even deeper penetration. These .510 cal Lazer-Tipped Bullets are designed for medium velocity ranges and should be used at those velocities where velocity is less critical. They will expand down to 1200 fps. If you do not have a muzzle brake installed, the Lazer Tip will suffice.
