The Barnes LRX combines the company’s classic spitzer boat tail design with the latest in doppler radar technology for even greater accuracy at extreme ranges. The LRX utilizes Doppler radar technology to optimize the bullet’s profile for reduced drag, which increases accuracy, and has re-engineered nose cavity that allow for deep penetration on game at close and extended distance. These features make the Barnes LRX a much more lethal option in the field – as well as a favorite among shooters who want to pump up the accuracy. For a tough, expandable bullet that you can count on, choose the Barnes LRX – it’s the ultimate in accuracy and terminal performance! I have not tried in game yet. Just working up a load. I have one combination now shooting .5 moa at 100. Working up another now with Lapua brass and another powder. Shopping with Optics Planet is hassle free with smooth transactions. The shipping has slowed down a lot though. Gets shipped fast, but apparently the shipping has changed. Also, Would really like to see Barnes improve the BC’s for the 6.5’s. BC’s and weight of bullets are lacking for the copper bullets. Hope they go back to the drawing board for at least a bore riding 140ish bullet in LRX with .with a North of .500 BC for hunting. It’s nothing to see a .600 plus BC in conventional non lead bullets.
