One of the beautiful parts of the ZERO is the ability to set up dies and not remove them, simply rotate or replace your turret to get to another die. With the addition of extra turrets there is virtually no limit to the number of calibers you can set up to run on the ZERO, and changing a turret takes about 20 seconds. Turret replacement is also repeatable to under .001?. All turrets will come with a press-fit pull-stud, and die stations laser marked with a number on the outer diameter of the head. I have been using a Redding Big Boss 2 for several years, but wanted to try and step up to a turret press. This press is superior to anything I have ever seen, and the quality is absolutely top shelf. If you want to produce the absolute best, and most consistent precision ammo, this press is for you. Expensive? Yes, but you get what you pay for. You’ll never have to replace this. I’m a firm believer in the old saying, “Buy once, cry once”! I have Zero regrets! Optics Planet shipped quickly, and everything arrived with no damage. I highly recommend!

Ive been reloading for over 20+ years, and i can say without a doubt that this is the most beautiful, solid, and accurate press ever built. I reload for precision, and this press gives me repeatable and the most accurate results hands down.

Pretty much everything was thought of when they designed this. Bearings everywhere. Tons of room to load the brass into the holder. No play at all.

Super smooth and repeatable. Allows me to setup 4 calibers (FL die, and seater) for each, and the 9th slot goes to a dedicated deprimer. The press is solid, and action is smooth as silk. Have ordered the tray and shell holder to go with it. Put on the inline fabrications base, and am ready to go. No more fussing with putting dies in and out…all set all the time

So, I spend the winter reloading all the ammo needed for the upcoming season. I used an older T-7 press, but I’ve had small problems with it since I purchased it (ball bearing failure, new heads not matching up perfectly). Long story short, the T-7 finally had a small piece break off, making it unusable.I like turrent presses, and my requirements for a new one was it should be able to handle a minimum of 15-20k reloads per year, as well as be precise enough for my 300wm precision rifle. I knew about the Zero press, but refused to pay 1,200 for something as simple as a basic turrent press. My wife talked me into buying it (I know, lucky), so I ordered and waited. When it came, I set it up and was really impressed with the fit and finish. (For the record I did buy the 419-Zero stand and accessory tray for the back. Highly recommend.) I’m at a loss for words over the quality, as well as the control when I was doing some testing with shoulder bumping. There was almost zero difference in measurements between cases. It blew my old T-7 out of the water. So, if you are asking yourself, why pay 1,200 for a turrent press when there are other options out there–think really hard what you want. If you just need to crank out ammo, then I would probably go with a new T-7. If you care about keeping the tolerances in check, AND you have a ridiculous amount of money to spend, I can’t recommend the Zero press enough.5 stars.
