I am waiting on a reply from the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) amorer before shooting this ammo in my M1 Garand. This is the best price for brass cased, 150 grain FMJ, .308 ammo I could find. I bought this ammo hoping to shoot it in my M1 Garand that is chambered for the .308 Winchester. Most factory loads for 150 grain .308 ammo has an advertised velocity of approximately 2820 Feet Per Second (FPS). The Ammo Incorporated website indicates that this ammo is loaded at a velocity of 2980 FPS and 2898 ft. lbs. of energy. If the CMP amorer says that this ammo is 'too hot' for my M1, I will shoot it in my bolt action .308 rifle and use the brass casings for reloading to a lower velocity that I can fire in my M1, without damaging the operating rod.

I ordered 100 rounds to start with and found them to perform way better than expected. I initially was shooting sub 200yds and quickly was out to 500 on stayed on steel the whole time. I ran a box of premium name brand in the same grain but soft point and the performance was not noticeable difference on steel. It did note a bit more carbon on this ammo but nothing a swab every few mags wouldn't've handled. I will keep buying this especially at these prices.

I ordered 5 boxes of these rounds because I like Ammo inc. But the brass on these rounds doesn’t look like the same brass as their controlled chaos 308. A little disappointed. I do understand these are pretty much just target rounds but it also says match grade.
